This notice describes how Baldr (“Baldr,” “we,” “us”) handles personal data collected through baldrvc.com and related communications. Counsel should review this notice before it is treated as final.
1. Controller
Personal data collected through this website is controlled by Baldr, a private investment firm. The specific legal entity that acts as controller will be identified in correspondence responding to your inquiry or to a data-rights request. Until a registered entity name and street address are published here, that information will be provided on request at contact@baldrvc.com.

2. Data we collect
Forms
Name, email address, organization, the inquiry route you select, and the commercial fields associated with that route (for example stage, revenue range, industry, geography, fundraising status, mandate, or ticket size), plus any message you choose to write.
Email and meetings
If you write to us or schedule a call, we process the content of that correspondence and any calendar details you provide.
Technical data
Our hosting provider may process standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps, requested URLs) as needed to operate and secure the site. See the Cookie Notice.
Analytics, cookies, and booking tools
This website does not currently load non-essential analytics, advertising, or retargeting pixels. If we later add such tools, or a third-party calendar booking product, this notice and the Cookie Notice will be updated before those tools run, and non-essential cookies will not load without a choice where required.
3. Why we use data
- To evaluate and respond to inquiries and confidential opportunities.
- To operate, secure, and maintain the website.
- To meet legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations.
We do not use website form data for marketing unless you give separate, specific consent for that purpose. Submitting an inquiry is not marketing consent.
4. Processors
Depending on how you reach us, personal data may be processed by:
- Hosting and content delivery (currently Vercel, or another host we appoint).
- Email providers used to receive and send correspondence.
- If later appointed: a CRM, form provider, analytics provider, or calendar tool, which will be named here.
We do not currently operate a public CRM or form vendor on this site. Inquiries submitted through the contact form are intended to be sent to Baldr by email.
5. Cross-border transfers
Personal data may be stored or accessed in more than one country, including by processors that operate internationally. Where we transfer data, we do so to evaluate inquiries, run the website, or meet legal duties.
6. Retention
Inquiry records are kept only as long as needed to respond, assess a possible relationship, and meet legal or compliance requirements. Server logs are retained for short operational periods unless a security or legal issue requires longer retention. You may ask us to delete data as described below, subject to those requirements.
7. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or information about how your data is used by writing to contact@baldrvc.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We will not require you to submit sensitive deal materials in order to exercise these rights.

Si sus datos personales son tratados en el marco de la legislación mexicana de protección de datos de particulares, puede ejercer sus derechos de Acceso, Rectificación, Cancelación y Oposición (ARCO), así como limitar el uso o divulgación de sus datos y, en su caso, revocar el consentimiento, enviando una solicitud a contact@baldrvc.com. La solicitud debe identificar al titular, describir el derecho que se ejerce y aportar documentos que acrediten identidad o representación. Responderemos conforme a los plazos previstos en la normativa aplicable. También puede acudir al Instituto Nacional de Transparencia, Acceso a la Información y Protección de Datos Personales (INAI) o a la autoridad que resulte competente.

If California privacy law applies to Baldr, or if we elect to honor these rights regardless of threshold, California residents may request to know, delete, or correct personal information, and to opt out of certain sharing, by emailing contact@baldrvc.com. We do not sell personal information. We do not use this website for cross-context behavioral advertising. Authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authority.
8. Children
This website is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. Changes
We will update the “Last updated” date when this notice changes in a material way.
